First time I'd used this type of polish. Usually, I paint my own gels using a uv lamp. This was so much quicker (to apply & cure) & neater, as there are no brush marks or rough edges. And, of course, you get patterns that aren't possible with DIY gel polish.
My only slight negative with this design, is I expected the stars to be solid silver, but they are more holographic, which means the are very visible at some angles but hardly visible at all from others. I also thought from the advert photos that the main colour was grey, whereas they are pale baby blue.
They lasted around the same amount of time but looked smarter for longer - the place my nails usually start to go are at the cuticles, where they chip away unevenly, whereas these stayed in shape til the very end. The signs of wear were them growing out from the cuticles and thinning at the tip.
I can't comment on how well they come off, cos sadly, against advice, I peeled them off and damaged my nails :(
I bought one of the small holy grail nail uv lamps, as it was portable, so I thought I could take it on holiday and reapply any that fell off (this isn't easy and the stuff you need isn't very portable to do this with gel polish) but I had no issues so didn't need to do this.
As my nails are very short, I was able to use each strip twice, by cutting it in half, therefore greater value for money.
Highly recommend this product, and probably all the same type in different patterns.
